Jr. Musical: Alice in Wonderland Jr.

Calling all young performers ready to take the stage! In this full-scale musical production class, elementary school-aged actors will rehearse and perform Alice in Wonderland Jr.—complete with sets, costumes, lights, in a black-box theater! This is a wonderful opportunity for students who are serious about theater and excited to work as part of a creative ensemble.

The rehearsal process begins with ensemble-building and learning the basics of musical theater through singing, dancing, games, and storytelling. During the first two weeks, students will get to know the script and music, and casting will be shared with the full cast by the end of week two. Every role is important, and we’re committed to hearing each student’s ideas and collaborating as an ensemble.

Each week, rehearsals will focus on acting, choreography, and vocal work. Together, we’ll bring this whimsical world to life—showcasing the ensemble’s unique talents as actors, singers, and dancers. The experience culminates in a fully staged performance at the Mark O’Donnell Theater (160 Schermerhorn Street) for friends, family, and the local community.

All participants will receive a script and a signed cast poster to commemorate their journey down the rabbit hole!

All performers must attend all TECH rehearsals and performances at the Mark O'Donnell Theater.

Tech Rehearsal: January 21st and 22nd from 4:00-7:00 PM

Performances: January 23rd, 24th, and 25th (Exact call times TBD)
