Description

Do you love to laugh? Do you love to make people laugh? Over the course of the week, actors will work with professional improvisers to hone their ensemble skills and learn the basics of improvisation and sketch comedy. Students will master multiple improv games they can share with their friends and family! While also learning how to generate ideas, create funny situations and settings, identify absurdities, write and perform their own sketches and bring them to hilarious conclusions.

Join us for Summer Intensives with Brooklyn Acting Lab. Intensives cover a range of intriguing areas: from musical theater, to improv and sketch, to monologue and scene study. Sing, dance and act all summer long with our staff of professional actors, directors and choreographers! Summer Intensives are open to every experience level! Whether your child is seriously considering a performing arts school, wants to explore theatrical activities, or is simply looking to have fun and make new friends in the community, these workshops deliver.
